What is Separation Anxiety in Pets?

Separation Anxiety in pets describes a condition in which a pet exhibits unhappiness, distress and behavioural problems when separated from their owner.

Separation Anxiety typically manifests within minutes of the owner's departure. It is not fully understood why some pets suffer from Separation Anxiety and others do not.

We at Paw Pat Roll can help your pet(s) overcome this with either a Walk/Play or a Pet Companion visit.

We worked full time, our own 3 dogs suffered from Separation Anxiety but after a 1 hour a day Companion visit we noticed a total difference in their mood, behaviour and general happiness.

We can also discuss other ways to help your pet(s) get more out of the time they are alone at home whilst you work.

We offer a Companion Service:

Sit with your pet(s) (stroke, play & talk to them)
Let them out in the comfort of your own garden
Feed & water them
Clean up after them (indoors and outdoors)

1 Paw Service - Short visit (30 mins)

2 Paw Service - Long visit (60 mins)

We also offer a Pet Day Care Service (Half day/Full Day)

How It Works

One of the Dog Buddies from Paw Pet Roll will meet you and your dogs(s) at your home.

Walks - We will ask about your dog(s) needs e.g. types of walks they like, duration of walks, whether they like to walk on grass or concrete, diet, age, allergies, likes/dislikes, what type of lead/collar/harness they use, if they want to take any toys on walks with them and can they travel in a Car/Van OK?

Companion - We will ask what you/your pet(s) want to get out of your companion visit e.g. sit and play, feeding, toilet break or do they just want to see someone?

Day (or Night) Care - Whether you need a half day/full day, late night or full night sleepover (WE CAN HELP)

Depending on the time of day, do you need any lights knocked on/off, blinds/curtains open/closed?

We then fill in the paperwork, schedule your day(s) and Welcome you and your Dog(s) to our Family!

Day Care (Includes walks)
Customise what your pet's needs are for the day, half day, evening or late night (usually carried out at your home but this can be discussed at our initial meeting)
* Bookable Slots:
Monday - Friday (6am to 11pm)
Saturday (7am to 11pm)
Sundays (9am to 6pm)
Other times can be arranged (including day/half day, evenings, late night or sleepovers) if there is a Dog Buddy available (please ask for more info)
* Bookable slots are the slots that we are available for Dog Walking/Pet Companion/Day Care, if that slot is already booked up, we will get as close to your desired time slot as possible (for Dog Walking - if your dog is 'other dog friendly' we might have the capacity to take your dog on a walk with a dog from another household (Group Walks), if this is OK with you/your dog)
